Refund policy

Returns, Replacements & Refunds

At The Arufa, each product is made to order with care and precision.
Because of this, we accept returns or replacements only in the case of manufacturing defects, incorrect prints, or damaged items.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us at support@thearufa.com within 48 hours of delivery, along with clear photos of the issue and your order number. Claims submitted after 48 hours of delivery will not be accepted under any circumstances.

An unboxing video recorded from the moment the sealed package is opened is mandatory to process any damage or incorrect item claim. Claims without an unboxing video may not be approved.

Once verified, we will offer a replacement or store credit, depending on the situation.

Only the following cases are eligible for replacement or store credit:

  • Damaged or defective items
  • Incorrect product received
  • Manufacturing defects

Non-Returnable Items

Return requests submitted for the following reasons will be automatically declined, as all products are made to order:

  • Incorrect size selection
  • Change of mind
  • Preference or fit issues
  • Items that have been worn or washed
  • Custom, made-to-order, or limited-edition products
  • Sale or clearance items

Customers are responsible for reviewing the size chart before placing an order. We are not responsible for size issues resulting from incorrect selection.

Submission of a return request does not guarantee approval. All requests are reviewed in accordance with this policy.

Exchanges

As our products are made to order, we do not offer direct exchanges.
If there is a verified issue with your order, we will arrange a replacement or offer store credit where applicable.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled only before they enter production.
Once an order has entered production, cancellation is not possible.

In eligible cases, we may offer store credit as a gesture of goodwill.

Store Credit

If issued:

  • Store credit is valid for future purchases on The Arufa
  • It is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Validity: 6 months 

Refunds

Refunds to the original payment method are issued only in rare and exceptional circumstances, solely at The Arufa’s discretion.

Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days, depending on the payment provider.

Return-to-Origin (RTO) & Refused Deliveries

Orders that are:

  • Refused at delivery
  • Marked as Return-to-Origin (RTO) due to customer unavailability
  • Undeliverable due to incorrect address provided by the customer

are not eligible for refund or free reshipment.

Re-shipping charges must be borne by the customer.

Cash on Delivery (COD) Orders

Orders placed via Cash on Delivery (COD) are not eligible for return unless:

  • The item is damaged
  • The wrong product was delivered

Return-to-Origin (RTO) or refused COD deliveries are not eligible for refund.
